Terms of Service - Wedio Event Confirmations

A. General and Definitions

The Wedio Event Confirmations website (hereinafter: the "Website") is operated by Wedio Event Confirmations, CP No. 540349727 of Dizengoff 257, Tel Aviv (hereinafter: the "Company" or "Website Operator").

The website provides a technological platform for event management including: RSVPs, digital invitations via WhatsApp/SMS, guest list management, seating arrangements, digital photo album, accommodation management and credit card gift charging (hereinafter: the "Services").

Use of the website and the services constitutes full agreement to all the terms of these Terms. The user declares that he is legally competent (over 18 years of age or with guardian's permission) to perform binding actions.

Instructional videos and images on the website are for illustration only and do not bind the Company.

B. Service Terms, Payments and Gifts

  • RSVPs: Sending is performed by technological means (SMS/WhatsApp/robot) for RSVP purposes only. Use of the service for "spam" purposes is strictly prohibited. The user shall indemnify the Company for any damage caused due to misuse or violation of the Communications Law.

  • Credit Card Gifts: The service is performed in cooperation with external charging providers and is subject to their terms (such as the Payme company). The fee amount is displayed to the gift giver before approval. The money will be transferred to the event owner within 7 business days.

  • Seating, Accommodation and Digital Album Services: The services may be provided through external suppliers. It is the customer's responsibility to verify the accuracy of the data in the systems (such as navigation links or accommodation lists) at least 24 hours before the event.

  • Debts and Payments: The Company is entitled to offset any debt of the user from the total of gifts received. In case of duplicate payments mistakenly transferred to the customer, he authorizes the Company to charge his credit card for refund.

C. Cancellation and Transaction Denial Policy

  • Cancellation of transaction: An order may be canceled within 14 days of its execution, subject to the Consumer Protection Law. A credit will be given less cancellation fees of 5% or NIS 100 (the lower of the two).

  • Cancellation exceptions: The gifts service and credit card terminal activation are considered "goods produced specifically for the consumer" and no refund can be received for them after their activation.

  • Transaction denial: In the event that a gift giver denies the transaction, the Company will cancel the transaction and offset the amount from the user without his consent. The user will be charged a handling fee of NIS 50 + VAT for each denial.

D. Limitation of Liability and Intellectual Property

The Company is not responsible for indirect damages, loss of profits or malfunctions in communication and internet networks. The Company's liability is limited to the amount actually paid for the service.

All copyrights, trademarks, code and design on the website belong exclusively to the Company. Content may not be copied or distributed without written approval.

Jurisdiction and Mediation: The parties undertake to apply to mediation before approaching the courts. Exclusive jurisdiction is granted to the court in Netanya.
